A “Pandemic” Thank You

“The Friends of St. Ita’s would like to say a very big ‘Thank You’ to all our wonderful supporters for their unwavering loyalty and generosity throughout the year despite all the stresses, strains and hardships which this awful pandemic has inflicted on all of us and sadly , continues to wreak havoc on all our normal regular living routine which  we had taken so much for granted ! However, the prospect of early vaccination against the virus is cause for hope and cautious optimism and so we must all stayed focused on the positive and continue to play our part in every way we can to rid ourselves of his vicious and deadly virus !
The Friends also would like to take this opportunity to wish all our great supporters a very happy, healthy and safe New Year which, hopefully, 2021 will eventually bring to all of us Le Cunamh De !  Also to say our Theresa Doyle McMahon CD Fundraiser – ‘Le Cheile’ has been going very well which did not at all surprise us, given the quality of content , the reputation of the artists and the high regard and reputation of Theresa herself for her standards of excellence in all such productions. Note there are still some remaining CDs available at Tony Hayes’s Shop, The Square, N’C’West, Gerard O’Connor’s Londis, Churchtown, N’C’West, Sheehan’s Store, St. Mary’s Road, N.C.West and Reception, St. Ita’s Hospital.

Once again very many thanks for the many private, and very generous,  donations we received during the year and once again we send good wishes to one and all  and especially, to all the residents, patients and staff at St. Ita’s whom, we compliment once again on the Trojan work they are doing in the fight against Covid-19. And as always very many thanks and good wishes to the staff at the Weekly Observer for their continuing great help and support. May the good Lord bless, reward and protect one and all.  Fergus Scanlan, Chairman”

Very many thanks Steve.

Fergus.
